Eckmann and Eckmore are typefaces inspired by the Art Nouveau fonts seen in 1960s and 1970s psychedelic concert posters. Eckmann is a faithful redrawing based on original sketches and type specimens of Otto Eckmann’s 1900 typeface, Eckmannschrift. It includes several original characters designed by Eckmann that are often omitted in modern releases. Despite its vintage roots, this typeface has experienced multiple resurgences over its 100-year history, remaining relevant in today’s retro design trends.
Eckmore, on the other hand, is a modern psychedelic interpretation inspired by the 1970s concert posters of The Fillmore in the San Francisco Bay Area. Its casual, free-spirited vibe makes it perfect for everything from retro fashion branding to toy packaging.
